About — Robotica

Robotica is the front page of robotics news. We continuously pull headlines from the best robotics publications on the web, classify them by topic, and put them on one fast page — so you can keep up with humanoids, autonomous vehicles, industrial automation, and the business of robots without a dozen open tabs.

Every headline links straight to the original publisher. We aggregate; they report. Currently we follow:

What we do that a publisher cannot

Reading many publishers at once produces information none of them has on its own. When several outlets report the same event independently within a day, we collapse them into one story and say who else ran it — breadth of coverage is the closest thing an aggregator has to editorial judgement, and it decides what leads the page. Alongside that we carry what practitioners are doing rather than announcing: the threads, preprints, repositories and models the field is actually engaging with.

Some stories also carry a short reading note. These are about classes of claim, not about companies — a funding announcement is capital in rather than revenue, demo footage is a best take, a benchmark win is a curated task. Trade publications are funded by the companies they cover and rarely print that; we have no such problem.

Everything here is machine-readable: a site feed, a feed per hub, and a JSON endpoint carrying the same corroboration and community signals the pages show.

How it works

The site is fully static, built with Astro and served from Cloudflare's edge. A scheduled job refetches all source feeds, dedupes and classifies the stories, and rebuilds the site — so what you see is never more than a few hours old, and every page load is instant.
